The businesses I work with share a common profile: they are profitable, they have real operating history, and there is a meaningful gap between where they are today and what they are capable of becoming. That gap is what makes the work worthwhile.
Financial Profile
- $7 to $20MM in annual revenue
- $1 to $4MM in EBITDA
- 10 or more years in operation
- Exit possible in 2 to 5 years
Structural Profile
- Regionally strong or niche dominant
- Decision-making centralized around the owner
- Limited second-layer leadership depth
- Informal processes that depend on the owner
