I work with a small number of owner-led businesses at a time. The businesses I work with share a common profile: they are profitable, they have real operating history, and there is a meaningful gap between where they are today and what they are capable of becoming. That gap is what makes the work worthwhile.


01 Financial Profile

The numbers
I look for.


  • $7 to $20MM in annual revenue
  • $1 to $4MM in EBITDA
  • 10+ years in operation a real operating history, through more than one cycle.
  • At an inflection point a planned exit, a capital raise, a growth push, or a recovery.
02 Structural Profile

The shape of the
businesses I work with.


  • Regionally strong or niche dominant. A defensible position in a defined market, even when the company is small.
  • Decision-making centralized around the owner. Authority concentrated at the top, with limited delegation downstream.
  • Limited second-layer leadership depth. A capable senior team is still being built or matured.
  • Informal processes that depend on the owner. The business runs on judgment and relationships rather than systems.
  • Profitable but not institutionally structured. Strong financially, not yet positioned for the scrutiny of buyers or capital partners.

These businesses are often successful. They are not yet positioned to take advantage of the options they are capable of achieving. That is where the work begins.
